BUSINESS MODEL MOLECULARIZATION

Hi All,

It has decided that Kevin and I no longer sell invisibleSHIELD™ anymore to reduce logistic hassle but we will still continue on the installation services because there are customers looking for someone who can help them in installing invisibleSHIELD™ for their gadgets.

However, if you wish to buy invisibleSHIELD™ for your new mobile gadgets, you can always look for a Singapore-based eBay seller who has been selling invisibleSHIELD™ all the while. Here is the link: http://stores.ebay.com.sg/Singapore-Teknik. Although we were retail competitors in the industry, Singapore Teknik has been referring his customers for installation services till today. This is considered what people usually describe as strategic alliance.

Now, it is my turn to refer any invisibleSHIELD™ customers to him for purchases. If you are interested to buy invisibleSHIELD™, just simply ask Singapore Teknik directly without asking me at all. As we are serving different market segments, this is not really a conflict at all. At the end of the day, I am still the one doing the mobile installation service. Haha…

Ever since invisibleshieldsg.blogspot.com had begun in September 2008, being a mobile retailer of invisibleSHIELD™ was not the only main purpose in the first place. Undeniably, it was a golden opportunity for me to relook the concept of business models, often explained individually by academics as well as consultants. Being uncertain about any breakthrough for my personal perspectives for next three years, I still tried and hoped to gain my perspectives eventually.

Interestingly, the business model had begun with its initial basic framework of Mobile Retailing Concept and slowly revolved to Characteristics-Split framework in my conceptualized Business Model Molecularization. Technically speaking, Mobile Service Provider Concept has gone through the transition and replaced its Mobile Retailing Concept successfully.

If you are interested to know more about my exploration on business models, you can access to this link: Will Tan’s Business Model Molecularization.pdf. Just let you know this is neither any research report nor academic thesis but rather likely a personal review on my learning curve towards a new concept.

Have a great day!

Warmest Regards,
Will Tan
